OCEAN YOUTH ECO
FILM FESTIVAL

About

Ocean Youth Eco International Film Festival (OYEIFF) is an annual film festival for young filmmakers focusing on raising awareness about ocean protection.
Short films (no longer than 30 minutes) made by primary and secondary school students will be screened online and on location in Hong Kong (depending on covid restrictions).
The festival is open to young filmmakers (primary and secondary school students) from around the world.
The language of the submitted movies can be English or Chinese. In the case of films made in other languages, they must have English or Chinese subtitles.
Ocean Youth Eco International Film Festival OYEIFF relates directly to SDG14 Life under Water.
Location
The film festival will last 2 days. It will be held at Renaissance College HK, or it might be online if Covid restrictions don't allow us to do that.
Workshops
In the months leading up to the festival, we'll hold at least 2 workshops about Filmmaking for Social Change, which can help people get started on how to make films. These workshops will be held online, through Zoom, so people won't have to go anywhere for those. Sign up here.

Hi!! I joined this club because I was interested in protecting and raising awareness of sea animals and the ocean. I think taking pictures or filming marine animals are a good way to know them more.
